Textures explores the resonance between music and matter. Inspired by the compositions of Jonathan Fitas, six spheres transform the softness of sound into forms and textures. Drawn with fine liner pen, they have already appeared on the cover of Leap of Faith and have been exhibited in art shows across the Normandy region of France.
In a crafted, artisanal approach, I collaborated with Tristan Sidem of Maison Picturale on prints in the pictorialist style: each drawing—scanned, enlarged, and transferred onto watercolour paper—reveals its texture through UV exposure and carefully selected pigments. This innovative technique lends every work depth, dimension, and individuality.
To anchor this project in my own environment, I incorporated soil from my garden in Normandy, giving each piece an intimate and organic imprint.
